Making sure that food handling systems keep running

The corona virus is getting a grip on the entire world. The measures announced by the many of the different governments affect our daily lives. How long this situation is going to last is uncertain.

Knowing that the demand for safe food remains unabated and that we as Lan Handling contribute to this with our food handling systems, we would like to let you know what actions Lan is taking to protect the health of our customers, suppliers and employees to ensure a healthy long-term cooperation with you as our valued customer.

Actions you may notice

We have cancelled or postponed all larger meetings and visits to the Lan locations in Berkel-Enschot and Halfweg until further notice.
Where possible, our colleagues work from home. That is why we kindly ask our customers and supplier to support us in using teleconferencing and other digital communication channels. We are currently helping some of our customers with virtual remote commissioning. There is always a way!
Colleagues present at Lan locations, as work is still going on in our production halls, follow strict hygienics guidelines.
When it comes to site visits from our colleagues, we follow the travel advice of the regulatory authorities. We keep in close contact with colleagues who are already abroad. Based on local developments, we can intervene to ensure the health and wellbeing of our employees.

We will do everything in our power to limit the impact on the tasks that you have entrusted to us. We are in close contact with our suppliers on a daily basis. As the situation evolves rapidly, we continuously monitor the developments and we will always respond appropriately.

Ready to support

This crisis may put additional pressure on your production capacity to meet the increased demand for food. Our handling systems are designed for this. If you unexpectedly need extra (remote) support, we are ready for you.
