#1: Vegetable and salad packer (UK)

We did a great project at a family-owned vertically integrated farming and packing business. The product: very specialised vegetables.

To optimise their production process and to reduce the labour costs, this customer has bought our end-of-line automation systems. In this case we integrated double robot case packers and palletisers in their vegetable packaging line.

Old situation
Manual packing.

New situation
De-palletiser places stacks of bale arm crates with vegetables onto a de-stacker, the vegetables are put on a conveyor for further processing. The crates are washed and palletised by the same palletiser for return flow. Vegetables are washed and packed in bags. Our 7 double robot case packers places the bags in supermarket crates.

How it works?
Crates filled with vegetables are emptied and stacked by our (de-)palletiser. Our 7 double robot case packers places the bags with vegetables in supermarket crates.

We have automated the factory at an international vegetable supplier across UK, Europe and the USA.

Automated crate handling, de-stacking, case packing and palletising.

How it works?
Stacks of bale arm crate are de-stacked, transported to a case packer. The full crates are stacked and palletised.
