What does your day look like as a Project Engineer Software?
While drinking your first cup of coffee, you hear your colleagues discussing a new project.
A producer of energy coffee wants to get its cans in and out of the retort as efficiently as possible and opts for an automated line with a shuttle. That means work to be done for you as a Project Engineer Software.
You are responsible for all software and control related matters during the design phase, engineering, assembly, testing and commissioning of this project. Such as writing software for machine control, control panels, robot control, servo and safety systems. Afterwards, you walk to the production hall where a fellow engineer is testing a machine from your project. You help him to detect an error and immediately ask whether he is still on schedule: check!
In the afternoon you sit down with colleagues from mechanical and electrical to work out a new concept for a module that checks whether the trays are empty. So late already? You quickly fill in your travel application. Because in two weeks you will fly to America for the commissioning of a pouch handling system. As a Project Engineer Software, you are often the last link in the process: you make sure the machine runs perfectly before you go home.
We offer
A completely new supermarket experience. Huh, what?! Really.
Once you come to work at Lan Handling, shopping will never be the same again. From that day on, you will turn over all the pouches, cans and jars you see. And always that check: yes, we also handle this product with our machines! But, of course, that’s not all:
- A desk with a view.
- A working environment full of opportunities to develop further. Good idea? Any training wishes? Discuss it with your supervisor and get started.
- Do you work on site at a customer? Then we have an excellent reimbursement scheme.
- In addition to 25 vacation days, you also get 13 days paid leave. So you have enough time to do fun things in addition to your work.
- 8% holiday allowance.
- Flexibile working hours, so that you can make time for sports, hobbies or just take your children to school quietly in the morning.
- An annual profit-sharing benefit. Because we feel that we do it together and everyone contributes to a positive result for the organisation, you also benefit from a financially successful year.
- Good travel expense.
- Join us for a Trabant ride or shine during one of the other fun activities organised by our staff association.
