Your day as a Product Quality Engineer?

You start your day by going through your emails and walking around production, interacting with inspectors, mechanics, electricians and project buyers to get a good understanding of current areas of concern.

After your tour of production, you review new rejection forms and recognise some recurring problems with a particular supplier. You organise an online meeting to discuss this problem with the supplier, you do this together with the responsible buyer and ask for a root cause analysis, you set a corrective action and a deadline for them to work out a preventive action.

After a cup of coffee with your colleagues, you prepare the monthly dashboard to feed back quality performance figures to our key module builders. While you are working on this, you get a call from production to look into a critical issue they are having, so you go to the production hal to get a better understanding of the situation and advise on how to proceed.

Now it’s time to have lunch and enjoy the sun outside for ½ hour.

You are busy in the afternoon finalising a quality improvement plan proposal for a poorly performing assembly partner. Next week you are going to them in Poland to conduct a quality audit where you also want to present your proposal in person and create an action plan together to see progress.

Tomorrow is another busy day to make a difference!

We offer

A completely new supermarket experience. Huh, what?! Really.

Once you start working at Lan Handling, shopping will never be the same again. From that day on, you will turn over all the pouches, cans and jars you see.

You’ll find yourself always checking: yes! we also handle this product with our machines! But that’s not all of course:

  • A working environment full of opportunities to keep developing yourself. Good idea? Any wishes regarding training? Discuss it with your supervisor and get started.
  • A great working space and tasteful coffee.
  • Flexible working hours, so you can make time for sports, hobbies or just to take your children calmly to school in the morning.
  • In addition to 25 vacation days, you also get 13 days of paid leave so you have enough time to do fun things next to your work.
  • An annual profit-sharing benefit. Because our vision is that we do it together and everyone contributes to a positive result for the organization, meaning you also benefit from a financially successful year.
  • Join us for a Trabant ride, a tandem ride to the Trappist monastery or shine during one of the other fun activities organized by our staff association.
  • 8% holiday allowance.
  • Good travel expenses.
