In order to realise growth, continuity and cost savings in the long term, it was decided to use robotisation.

Manual packing of salad bowls in crates and boxes.

New situation
Heemskerk is running this prepared salads packing line with only 1 operator, at a speed of 50 products/min.

How it works?
Lan Handling integrated a system for the destacking of crates and boxes, before the product carrier enters the robot cell. A highly flexible case packer takes care of the product placement. Switching between various programs is done at the touch of a button and takes only 2 minutes.
